Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager - AI Advanced Development will lead a small team focused on investigating emerging AI capabilities, making swift decisions on technology feasibility, and directly presenting findings to executive leadership in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Transform executive and stakeholder requests into scoped investigations that yield defensible recommendations
• Conduct rapid experiments to reach decisions quickly, prioritizing actionable results over polished outputs
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful handoffs of accepted work, including documentation of findings and limitations

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in building systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing AI-native applications and automation workflows
• Proven ability to provide technical recommendations under tight deadlines
• Experience in leading and mentoring senior engineers, including hiring and setting technical direction
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
