Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The fully remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead a team of software developers and QA testers in delivering high-quality cloud-based SaaS and mobile applications, managing all aspects of the release cycle and engineering processes.
Key responsibilities
- Directly manage software developers and QA testers, overseeing hiring, performance management, and coaching
- Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to translate product priorities into technical designs and development plans
- Plan and execute sprints, including managing scrum boards, workflows, and the end-to-end release cycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field
- Must have started career as a software engineer/developer
- 10+ years of software industry experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Hands-on experience running Agile/Scrum teams and managing release cycles independently
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture, development, testing, and deployment processes
