The full-time Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Data Engineering team in a remote capacity, overseeing the data platform's reliability, driving technical strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of engineers focused on the foundational data processing platform
- Drive technical strategy and execution across the Snowflake platform, dbt project, and cloud services
- Establish robust engineering practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of data engineering experience
- 2+ years of engineering management experience
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL
- Experience administering a cloud data warehouse, including access control and cost management
- Proficient in running production services in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
