The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers in modernizing engineering practices, focusing on technical leadership, team development, and collaboration to enhance software delivery and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute hands-on to code and architecture while leading a team, targeting a 40/60 split between individual contribution and management
- Implement modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-assisted development tools
- Foster a high-performing team culture through effective coaching, clear expectations, and collaboration with Product and Design
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years in people management
- Experience leading teams with real CI/CD, automated testing, and short release cycles
- Hands-on experience with C# .NET, React, and cloud-native systems design
- Proven track record of driving process improvements in CI/CD and software development lifecycle practices
- Strong ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
