Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the IT engineering team, overseeing engineering delivery and production operations across Azure environments, Microsoft 365, and enterprise AI tooling while transitioning outsourced work in-house.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team, planning capacity and managing budgets
- Own engineering delivery for Microsoft 365, the open enrollment platform, and the enterprise AI platform
- Act as the technical counterpart to engineering partners and manage the transition of outsourced work to in-house ownership
Required Qualifications
- Eight or more years in engineering or infrastructure roles, with three or more years in a management position
- Experience taking over a vendor-built platform and operating it in-house
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 control environments
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and managing production systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security architecture
