Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the Co-Intelligent Coaching initiative, managing multiple squads through the software development lifecycle, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring quality delivery while remaining actively involved in coding and technical decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Own the member experience by managing AI interactions and human coach handoffs from prototype to production
- Drive delivery across squads through sprint shaping, prioritization, and accountability for decisions made
- Improve cycle time while maintaining quality and explaining changes in performance across squads
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 4 years in direct management of engineers
- Proven experience in developing leadership within teams and shipping mission-critical software to production
- Expertise in prioritization and estimation, including the ability to communicate decisions effectively
- Hands-on experience with production code across various layers of technology stacks
- Familiarity with AI agents in production environments and understanding of CI/CD processes
