Job Summary
To build and lead a team of Applied AI Engineers, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the delivery of LLM-based agents and assistants, ensuring technical standards and operational health in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop a team of Applied AI Engineers, expanding from a single pod to multiple teams
- Drive the roadmap and execution of production AI systems, from scoping to launch and ongoing operation
- Set technical standards for architecture, evaluation, and operational reliability of AI systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a management role
- Experience leading production LLM-based systems that real users depend on
- Proven ability to manage senior and Staff-level engineers and establish technical credibility
- Strong understanding of production engineering principles, including incident management and security protocols
