Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performance engineering team, the full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the development and operation of NVIDIA's S3-compatible object storage service, ensuring service reliability and driving engineering excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the engineering organization, setting high standards for software quality and service reliability
• Own roadmap execution for the object storage service, collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate goals into engineering plans
• Define service reliability standards and partner with global SRE teams to ensure 24/7 availability and operability

Required qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in an engineering management role leading teams of 10 or more
• Deep technical background in distributed storage systems and hands-on development experience in Go, C++, or Python
• Experience building or scaling S3-compatible object storage systems in a production environment
• Proven track record of managing software delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams
