Job Summary
The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead a growing engineering team in building an API-first marketplace platform for healthcare services, while also writing production code and managing technical direction in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams, conducting performance conversations and developing team leads
- Write production code across various components, ensuring quality and technical direction of the platform
- Own the roadmap and commitments, guiding integration of provider schedules and maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management
- Hands-on full-stack skills with Python (FastAPI or similar) and TypeScript/React
- Experience leading data integration with external partners through APIs and batch file feeds
- Strong API design expertise across REST (OpenAPI) and GraphQL
- Familiarity with handling PII and PHI under HIPAA regulations
