Key responsibilities
- Own engineering outcomes across device product areas, including field operations tooling and patient engagement technology
- Manage a blended team of senior Engineering Leads and individual contributors, focusing on hiring, performance, and career growth
- Stay close to the code by leading code reviews, contributing to production code, and guiding teams on technical best practices
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Recent hands-on experience with native Android development using Kotlin and modern practices
- Experience with AOSP, customized Android ROMs, and device management for Android devices
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and React-based front-end development
- Experience managing and developing engineers, including performance management and coaching
