Senior Enterprise Security Architect

Job Summary

To support cyber protection architecture and operations at a large Federal agency, the full-time Senior Enterprise Security Architect will provide strategic technical expertise, lead collaborative design sessions, and formulate security architecture roadmaps, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary security architecture advisor, translating technical risks into business-risk metrics
• Lead design and threat modeling sessions across various teams and external partners
• Formulate and author the Enterprise Security Architecture roadmap to align security investments with departmental goals

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture, cybersecurity engineering, and IT operations
• Strong experience with SASE/SSE Convergence, Edge and Perimeter Protection solutions, and Zero Trust Network Access
• In-depth understanding of hybrid large-scale enterprise environments and security framework alignment
• Experience with governance policy development and security incident response activities
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance as a U.S. Citizen
