Senior Environmental Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the nuclear environmental services business team, the full-time Senior Environmental Licensing Specialist will manage the preparation of NRC Environmental Reports and NEPA analyses, ensuring compliance with regulations while building client relationships and leading project execution, with the option for remote work within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct the preparation of NRC Environmental Reports and NEPA documents for nuclear and energy projects, ensuring technical quality and compliance
• Define, scope, and oversee environmental field and technical studies, integrating results into ER and NEPA deliverables
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and regulatory-compliant environmental analyses across various resource areas

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in environmental/biological science, planning, engineering, or related discipline
• 12+ years of experience leading NEPA/environmental impact assessments for energy or nuclear projects
• Strong command of NEPA and related regulations/guidance
• Demonstrated experience preparing or managing NRC Environmental Reports and nuclear licensing reviews
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget
