Senior Estimator

Job Summary

Leading the estimating function for complex projects, the full-time Senior Estimator will develop estimating strategies, oversee proposal development, and manage vendor and client relationships while mentoring junior staff in a dynamic environment focused on renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and conceptual budgets for preconstruction efforts
• Oversee proposal development, risk assessments, and value engineering to ensure competitive bids
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create execution plans and pricing strategies

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Estimating, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of estimating experience, including leadership or management of an estimating team
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, and construction methods
• Proven ability to analyze complex engineering documents and manage large-scale estimates
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office; relevant professional certifications preferred
