Job Summary
To support data migration initiatives, the full-time Senior ETL Developer will design, develop, and execute data migration solutions from various source systems into enterprise applications, leveraging strong SQL and database analysis skills in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze source database schemas and map data structures to target schemas, identifying inconsistencies and migration challenges
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across different database platforms
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance data mapping, transformation, and migration processes while ensuring data quality and security
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in database development, data migration, ETL, or data integration
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, and query optimization
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL and at least two other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
- Hands-on experience developing data transformation and migration scripts using Python and SQL
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot
