Senior Export Control Analyst

Job Summary

Providing advanced programmatic and compliance support, the full-time Senior Program and Export Control Management Analyst will manage project operations for the COSMIC-2 mission while ensuring adherence to federal export controls and cybersecurity frameworks at the NSOF in Suitland, MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver project management, scheduling, and milestone tracking for the COSMIC-2 mission, coordinating interagency and international partner communications
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for ITAR and EAR regulations, managing export licensing and compliance efforts
• Maintain familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks to ensure compliance with federal security baselines and safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in federal program management, preferably with NOAA, NASA, or DoD
• Export compliance certification or 2+ years of professional experience managing U.S. export control compliance
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) principles and CUI handling procedures
• Ability to work on-site with a core presence during specified hours, with potential for hybrid/remote schedules as authorized
