Senior Factoring Underwriter

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Factoring Underwriter in a full-time remote capacity, this role focuses on leading credit evaluations, risk structuring, and portfolio oversight for invoice factoring facilities in high-growth sectors such as e-commerce and B2B wholesale.

Key responsibilities:

• Underwrite prospective client factoring facilities and establish credit limits based on comprehensive financial analysis
• Conduct UCC search analysis and coordinate lien perfection to secure first-priority positions on accounts receivable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and enhance the efficiency of factoring operations

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of direct commercial accounts receivable factoring underwriting experience
• Proven expertise in UCC lien analysis and perfection processes
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate debtor credit risk and set appropriate credit limits
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including cash-flow modeling and A/R aging analysis
• Experience with Generative AI tools to optimize workflows and proficiency in core factoring software
