Senior Farsi Linguistic Tester

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the freelance Senior Farsi Linguistic Tester will conduct linguistic QA on software applications and AI models for the Farsi market, ensuring cultural and contextual accuracy while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute rigorous linguistic QA and functional testing on localized Farsi software interfaces and AI-generated content
• Identify, log, and regress linguistic errors and visual layout glitches using standard issue-tracking workflows
• Ensure adherence to project glossaries, style guides, and brand-specific localization standards while providing feedback to localization managers

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Linguistic QA, software localization testing, or professional translation (English into Farsi)
• Native fluency in Farsi with strong command of grammar and professional-level written English skills
• Active access to a Mac computer with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer)
• Proven ability to differentiate between critical linguistic bugs and cosmetic layout defects
• Strong understanding of modern Farsi cultural nuances and localized language trends
