Seeking a Senior Federal Proposal Writer on a contract basis, this remote position will develop clear and persuasive responses to federal solicitations, collaborating with various stakeholders to turn complex technical input into compelling proposal content.
Key responsibilities
- Write and edit a variety of proposal content, including technical approaches and executive summaries
- Review solicitations and build compliant outlines and content plans
- Interview subject matter experts to transform their insights into clear proposal text
Required qualifications
- At least five years of federal proposal-writing experience in government contracting
- Experience with Shipley or a similar proposal-development process
- Strong knowledge of federal solicitations, FAR/DFARS concepts, and evaluation criteria
- A record of contributing to successful federal civilian or defense proposals
- U.S. citizenship and an independent-contractor business setup with the ability to provide a W-9
