Senior FHIR Test Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Senior FHIR Test Engineer will provide remote technical assistance and troubleshooting for interoperability and integration services, collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure successful service adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Provide centralized technical assistance and support for healthcare facilities, vendors, developers, and integration partners
- Troubleshoot integration, connectivity, configuration, and data-exchange issues, coordinating resolutions with relevant teams
- Communicate with stakeholders to define issues, isolate root causes, and deliver appropriate technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in technical support and troubleshooting for complex software and healthcare technology environments
- Experience with healthcare interoperability technologies, including EHR, HIE, FHIR, APIs, and data-exchange services
- Strong skills in root cause analysis, connectivity troubleshooting, and validation testing
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
