Senior Finance Analyst

Job Summary

Providing senior-level financial and analytical support, the full-time Senior Finance Analyst will oversee financial performance, forecasting, reporting, and trend analysis for Molina's Medicare line of business across multiple markets while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts, financial models, and projections related to Medicare medical costs and value-based care programs
• Monitor and analyze medical cost and utilization trends to identify key drivers and opportunities across Medicare markets
• Prepare recurring financial reports and analyses for market and executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of finance experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Experience with Medicare healthcare, preferably within a managed care or health plan environment
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting
