Senior Finance Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in the EST timezone, the full-time Senior Finance Analyst will apply advanced accounting principles to prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with established policies and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions and prepare client financial statement packages
• Create and post journal entries, ensuring accurate posting of all transactions for the accounting period
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy, ensuring timely delivery to clients and management teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
• Advanced math skills for complex financial calculations
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
