Job Summary
To support a mission-driven law firm focused on renewable energy, the full-time Senior Finance Attorney will lead complex financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, while working remotely from their licensed state.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the lead attorney on complex financings in the renewable energy sector, managing the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of transaction documents
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues on finance matters, ensuring adherence to firm policies and practices
- Mentor junior attorneys and support the attorney team with minimal oversight on financing transactions
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience at a law firm specializing in renewable energy and related industries
- Extensive experience in debt and tax equity financing, including construction and permanent debt
- Ability to manage complex financing transactions as a senior attorney
- Admission to and in good standing with the Bar of the applicant's state of residence
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex matters under pressure
