Senior Finance Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support complex finance business systems, the full-time remote Senior Finance Business Analyst will manage project plans, liaise between IT and business partners, and document functional business processes while ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business areas for software development projects, managing resources and facilitating status meetings
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, including functional requirements and process flow diagrams
• Conduct research and analysis for proposed projects, presenting findings and recommendations to management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a technology-related field, or a high school diploma with nine years of relevant experience
• Five years of relevant experience in a business analyst capacity
• Proven experience in project management and organizing business analysis documentation
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to write and run SQL queries and understand application programming and system design
