Senior Finance Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Finance Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business and IT partners, evaluating complex finance business systems and providing recommendations for system solutions while managing project plans and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans for large-scale software development and enhancement projects, facilitating status meetings and managing resources
• Create detailed documentation of functional business processes, including business cases, process flow diagrams, and functional requirements
• Perform research and analysis for proposed projects to assess feasibility and ROI, presenting findings and recommendations to management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a technology-related field, or a high school diploma with nine years of relevant experience
• Five years of relevant experience in a business analyst capacity
• Proven experience in project management and organizing business analysis documentation
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to write and run SQL queries and understand application programming and database design
