Senior Financial Accountant
Job Summary
To support the financial operations of a growing organization, the full-time Senior Financial Accountant will manage general accounting responsibilities, focusing on expense and balance sheet accounts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support management of lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842 and maintain corporate debt schedules
- Oversee the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization reviews and depreciation tracking, while partnering with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP
- 1+ years of experience with cloud-based accounting software, preferably Oracle Fusion
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables
- BA or BS in accounting or a related discipline
- Deep understanding of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP
