Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Providing essential financial and analytical support, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will conduct financial and operational analysis, manage budgeting processes, and respond to ad-hoc requests within a healthcare environment in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses, including ROI analysis and service line analytics
- Support annual budget preparation and monthly budget reconciliation
- Provide day-to-day financial support to leaders and staff, including accounting and payroll assistance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of financial management or analysis experience in an acute-care hospital environment
- Advanced experience with Power Query and Power BI
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex formulas
- Working knowledge of GAAP and hospital financial/accounting principles
