Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Owning Samsara's three-statement model, the full-time remote Senior Financial Analyst will lead the monthly forecast consolidation process, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for strategic decisions, and partner with the Finance Systems team to enhance financial planning tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly corporate forecasting process and annual operating planning cycle, ensuring forecast accuracy
• Publish monthly forecasting and reporting packages, highlighting key business metrics, risks, and opportunities
• Drive the long-range planning process and model, aligning financial models with strategic priorities

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Strategic Finance or FP&A
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and analysis capabilities, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Proactive and highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• Experience presenting to senior management and collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
