Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Partnering with R&D and Product teams, the remote Senior Financial Analyst will manage financial planning and reporting for Shopify's infrastructure software, driving insights and efficiencies while leveraging AI and data tools.
Key responsibilities
- Own forecasting and reporting cycles, including variance analysis and operating reviews for infrastructure software
- Build management reporting tools and dashboards that communicate the financial investment story of the infrastructure portfolio
- Utilize SQL, Python, and AI tools to automate workflows and enhance financial reporting processes
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in financial modeling and strategic business planning, particularly in R&D finance
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to manage data extraction and manipulation
- Experience in data science, management consulting, investment banking, FP&A, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to drive impact in complex business environments and navigate ambiguity
- Background in tech, fintech, or SaaS business models is preferred
