Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Value Based Care Financial Performance, the full-time remote Senior Financial Analyst will perform advanced financial and statistical analysis related to value-based programs, develop financial reports, and provide actionable insights to enhance financial strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Leads the development and refinement of financial reports, executive summaries, and dashboards to track value-based program performance
- Prepares analytic reports summarizing total medical expenses, utilization trends, and value-based contract performance to identify areas for improvement
- Mentors junior analysts and collaborates with data teams to ensure accurate financial and utilization reporting
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Math, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare finance or analytics
- Familiarity with healthcare data systems, including EMR platforms and claims data
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of financial forecasting and value-based program performance analytics
