Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
To support high-priority projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial and technical data, manage data transition activities, and serve as a subject matter expert on General Ledger processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional support for migrating legacy financial data to a web-based financial system
- Analyze and document legacy financial systems and data flows to ensure accurate data conversion
- Lead detailed reconciliations of financial data and validate post-conversion reporting data
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent with 12 years of industry experience, including 8 years in federal financial management
- Hands-on technical experience with Momentum Financials and its implementation in a cloud-based environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of OMB Circular A 136, USSGL, and federal financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle Databases
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
