Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Providing technical and general accounting support, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will complete bank reconciliations, analyze financial information, and recommend improvements while working remotely from Los Angeles, CA.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete bank reconciliations and provide accounting assistance to the Controller
• Analyze financial information and business systems to identify issues and prepare reports
• Advise department personnel on accounting-related matters to improve accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including fund and healthcare accounting
• Experience managing accounting systems and producing financial reports for medical groups
• Working knowledge of computerized general ledger and subsidiary accounting systems
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications for financial analysis and reporting
• Experience with Workday and Managed Care Plans is preferred
