Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting financial planning and reporting, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will manage the annual operating budget, prepare monthly financial reports, and build financial models while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes in collaboration with business leaders
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis against budget and prior year
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or economics from an accredited program
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or related finance roles
• Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within a health plan or medical group
• Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Proven experience using Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databases and data architecture
