Job Summary
Supporting the Department of War (DoD) client, the remote Senior Financial Analyst will manage FBWT reconciliation, enhance financial data quality, and ensure audit readiness while utilizing systems such as Advana, Databricks, and SQL to analyze financial data.
Key responsibilities
- Support the review, validation, and cleanup of Advana FBWT dashboards, investigating undistributed transactions and data discrepancies
- Analyze financial data across DoD systems to identify reconciliation issues and trace transactions for accuracy
- Assist with audit engagements by researching transactions and aligning audit samples with applicable financial processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management and accounting, preferably within a federal or defense-related environment
- Strong understanding of DoD financial statements and reporting structures
- Familiarity with FBWT reconciliation concepts and DoD audit engagements
