Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Summary

To support investment accounting and reporting, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will manage the accurate and timely accounting and reporting of financial information in accordance with GAAP and Statutory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and reporting cycles, including account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports, and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree, MBA, or CPA preferred
• Relevant experience in public accounting, insurance, financial services, or corporate financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting and reporting requirements
• Experience in financial statement preparation and disclosure reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets
