Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Summary

To support the accounting and reporting of a diverse investment portfolio, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will manage the accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and Statutory requirements, participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and completeness of results
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reports to support financial reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree, MBA, or CPA preferred
• Relevant experience in public accounting, insurance, financial services, or corporate financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting and reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
