Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the accounting and reporting of a diverse investment portfolio, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will manage the accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and Statutory requirements, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial results
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reports to support financial reporting requirements
• Collaborate with financial reporting teams and auditors to ensure proper presentation and disclosure of financial information

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree, MBA, or CPA preferred
• Relevant experience in public accounting, insurance, financial services, or corporate financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting and reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
