Job Summary
Leading the development of next-generation intelligent safety features, the full-time remote Senior Firmware Engineer will integrate high-performance camera systems and real-time edge computing into fleet and industrial products while executing technical strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Influence a team of engineers on Video-Safety products, guiding architectural decisions and improving quality
- Assume ownership of production systems, providing operational support and supervision as needed
- Participate in roadmap planning sessions to define technical direction and priorities for Safety products
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in embedded software development, focusing on embedded Linux systems
- Strong programming experience with Golang, C/C++, Rust, or similar languages
- Proven experience with media pipelines and deploying CV/ML models on edge devices
- Experience defining and implementing scalable embedded software architecture
- Desire to mentor and grow engineers of all levels
