Job Summary
To support the financial operations of a health system, the full-time Senior Fixed Assets Accountant will manage the recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial statements while working remotely across multiple states.
Key responsibilities
- Record and track fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and manage asset disposals
- Compile financial statements and conduct general ledger reviews related to fixed assets
- Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors during annual audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of four years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in fixed assets accounting
- Proficiency in automated accounting systems and general ledger software
- Experience leading projects and providing guidance to team members
- Preferred: MBA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent certifications
