Senior Fixed Assets Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a health system, the full-time Senior Fixed Assets Accountant will manage the recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial statements while working remotely across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Record and track fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and manage asset disposals
• Compile financial statements and conduct general ledger reviews related to fixed assets
• Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors during annual audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of four years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in fixed assets accounting
• Proficiency in automated accounting systems and general ledger software
• Experience leading projects and providing guidance to team members
• Preferred: MBA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent certifications
