Senior Fixture Design Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of manufacturing fixtures and tooling solutions, the full-time Senior Fixture Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs that support new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of various manufacturing fixtures, ensuring they meet product and process requirements
- Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and design documentation while validating fixture designs for manufacturability and reliability
- Coordinate with global engineering teams and suppliers to manage tooling projects from concept through production launch
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in fixture design, tooling design, or manufacturing engineering
- Strong proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and creating fabrication and assembly drawings
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes
