Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Forward Deployed Engineer will lead the design and development of digital identity solutions for state governments and enterprise customers, combining hands-on software development with consulting and customer success.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of products and solutions for state governments and enterprise customers
- Translate customer requirements into technical architectures and working implementations
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to public sector partners, guiding them through standards adoption and best practices
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience shipping backend software in statically typed languages, such as C#, Rust, Go, or Java
- Experience shipping modern web frontends that meet accessibility and security standards
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts and deliver production systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and devops practices
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with customers, ideally in a consulting or delivery role
