Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Driving technical engagement with partners and customers, the full-time Senior Forward Deployed Engineer will focus on transforming NVIDIA's open model portfolio into production-ready AI solutions, collaborating closely with ecosystem teams and leading post-training strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI solutions from discovery through deployment, collaborating with partners to create scalable architectures and deployment plans
• Lead technical engagements by scoping work, shaping statements of work, and delivering outcomes with partner engineering teams
• Connect NVIDIA's model research to practical use cases, optimizing post-training methods and inference cost-effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in ML or software engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in LLM post-training and production deployment
• Deep expertise in post-training methods, including LoRA/PEFT and reinforcement learning, along with a solid understanding of model architectures
• Experience with large-scale distributed training and optimization for memory efficiency and throughput
• Proficiency in PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Python, and Linux, along with hands-on experience in harness engineering for LLM systems
