Senior Fraud Analyst
Job Summary
To shape fraud strategy as the company scales, the full-time Senior Fraud Analyst will manage fraud controls across payment products, identify emerging threats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve fraud strategies for Mudflap's payments products
- Identify emerging fraud patterns and develop scalable rules and controls
- Partner with Data Science to enhance fraud detection models and reporting
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fraud strategy, risk, or payments, preferably in fintech
- Hands-on experience with fraud strategy development and optimization
- Strong analytical skills with advanced SQL and proficiency in Python
- Experience analyzing transaction data to identify fraud patterns
- Familiarity with card payments, ACH, or complex payment ecosystems
