Senior Fraud Analyst

Job Summary

To protect the Mode Mobile ecosystem from fraud and abuse, the full-time remote Senior Fraud Analyst will review fraud data, investigate accounts, analyze partner network data, and track fraud trends while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review fraud data across rewarded apps to monitor user behavior and identify fraudulent patterns
• Investigate accounts using various data points to determine fraud status and document reasoning for decisions
• Analyze Mobile Measurement Partner data to identify invalid traffic and recommend actions to mitigate fraud

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in fraud analysis or related analytical roles, preferably in rewarded apps or ad tech
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Google Analytics
• Strong understanding of fraud tactics in rewarded apps, including multi-accounting and device spoofing
• Experience analyzing Mobile Measurement Partner data and understanding install and attribution fraud
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions with incomplete information while balancing fraud prevention and user experience
