Senior Front-end Developer
Job Summary
As a full-time Senior Front-end Developer in the Design System team, the candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and enhancing Moodle's design system across products, collaborating with engineering teams, and developing scalable components using React in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to facilitate the adoption of the design system and assist with migration tasks
- Develop and maintain accessible design system components in React while ensuring smooth integration into the product codebase
- Review code contributions from team members, provide constructive feedback, and ensure quality through testing and documentation
Required qualifications
- Strong front-end development experience, particularly with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proven experience with AI-assisted development and integrating AI tools into the development workflow
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git
- Experience in testing integrated code and performing QA testing
- Background in working as part of a Design System team, especially in the initial build phase
