Senior Front-End Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design, development, and deployment of complex front-end features, the full-time Senior Front-End Engineer will work remotely to build high-performance React and Next.js applications while collaborating with product managers and UX designers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable and maintainable front-end features using React and Next.js
- Implement backend-for-frontend (BFF) endpoints and integrate with .NET and Python services
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct coding reviews to ensure adherence to best practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, including server-side rendering and streaming user interfaces
- Experience with component libraries such as KendoReact or MUI for building data-heavy screens
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508 compliance
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
