Senior Frontend Developer
Job Summary
Combining strong React and Next.js engineering with architectural expertise, the remote contract Senior Frontend Developer will own the technical direction for complex front-end features while mentoring the team through design decisions and reviews.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable front-end architecture and reusable component libraries
- Integrate REST APIs and ensure performance optimization through profiling, memoization, and code splitting
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members and contributing to CI/CD pipelines and high-quality code reviews
Required qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern hooks-based component design
- Proven expertise in state management using Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or equivalent approaches
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, SCSS, and responsive design, including accessibility considerations
- Experience with WebGL, three.js, or React Three Fiber for graphics-heavy applications
- Demonstrated experience in testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest and familiarity with TypeScript
