Senior Frontend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Portfolio team, the full-time Senior Frontend Engineer will design and deliver core user experiences for balances, holdings, and profit-and-loss features across web and mobile platforms, transforming complex financial data into accessible insights for Coinbase users.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the design and delivery of core Portfolio experiences across web (React/TypeScript) and mobile applications
- Build performant, accessible UI that accurately renders real-time financial data
- Drive frontend architecture and quality through code reviews, technical mentorship, and documentation
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with consumer-facing web applications
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of frontend fundamentals
- Proven track record of shipping and owning complex features in production, particularly in data-intensive applications
- Experience building real-time UIs and integrating with backend APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
