Senior Full-Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support client projects and modernization initiatives, the remote contract Senior Full-Stack Developer will lead and mentor development teams, provide technical guidance, and oversee the architecture and engineering of scalable, secure distributed systems using modern programming technologies and AWS services.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy high-value software products on AWS
- Lead solution architecture and full-stack engineering efforts while defining application architecture standards and best practices
- Manage technical decision-making and oversee implementation of complex distributed systems across multiple initiatives
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
- Minimum of eight years of relevant full-stack application development experience, including at least four years in leadership or architecture roles
- Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Expert proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with experience leading teams of five or more developers
- Experience with microservices architecture, API design patterns, and AWS services, along with familiarity with Agile practices
