Job Summary
To enhance a world-class practice management platform for accounting professionals, the remote Senior Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement REST APIs, build user-facing experiences, and manage deployments while ensuring code quality and mentoring future teammates.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and validate new features end-to-end
- Design and implement REST API endpoints and microservices using Python, Java, or Kotlin, backed by PostgreSQL
- Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain quality across the codebase
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with both frontend and backend exposure
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, or Kotlin) and RESTful API design
- Experience with JavaScript/React or a similar modern framework
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and a willingness to adopt the latest advancements in technology
