Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Full-Stack Engineer will design and manage Python services and GraphQL APIs, contribute to frontend features in React/TypeScript, and oversee third-party integrations within the mortgage software development team.
Key responsibilities
- Design and own the GraphQL schema and Python services, ensuring alignment with frontend data flows
- Manage the mapping of application data to MISMO XML for loan applications and oversee third-party integrations
- Develop and enhance OCR pipelines to convert borrower documents into structured, verifiable data
Required qualifications
- Senior-level engineering experience (typically 5+ years) with production systems you designed and owned
- Strong Python backend skills and experience designing GraphQL APIs
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including deployment and debugging of built solutions
- Experience mapping application data to large XML schemas, with relevant experience in regulated domains
- Working fluency in React and TypeScript for feature development and API evaluation
